CHAI TEA SWISS ROLL WITH OREGON CHAI TEA

I made my first swiss roll and kicked it up a thousand notches by flavoring my butter cream filling with Oregon Chai Tea powder which arrived in my August Degustabox.

anyone else hooked on the Great British Bake Off? I finally caught the first three episodes on Netflix and realized I have never made a swiss roll, seems easy enough. and yes, making this swiss roll was super easy and since we're exploring swiss rolls, I had to make a traditional swiss meringue butter cream to fill her with!

OREGON CHAI TEA SWISS ROLL

DIRECTIONS:

INGREDIENTS:

mix 2 TBSP of Oregon Chai Tea powdered mix into prepared Swiss Meringue buttercream; incorporate throughly and taste, add more as desired.

follow recipe directions for Swiss Cake roll and stop before frosting. 

frost prepared cake edge to edge with Oregon Chai Tea flavored buttercream. Drizzle 3 TBSP. of honey and half of chopped pistachios to a short end which will be the designated center of the swiss roll. 

starting from the designated center of cake, carefully roll the cake away from you. transfer to a serving plate with the seem side down, drizzle with remaining honey and chopped pistachios.

serve at room temperature

3 tbsp. Oregon Chai Tea powdered mix.

6 tbsp. honey of your choice

1/4 c. chopped pistachios
